Information for Norwegian Businesses’ Subcontractors/Partners

To support the transition to Digitoll, Norwegian Customs has prepared a letter that the industry can use as an official reference document. Suppliers in Europe, who often ship goods before providing Information, must now ensure that the correct details are communicated to Norwegian companies. The link to the letter explains the new requirements for declarations no later than at border crossing.

We hope this helps reach consignees, suppliers, and transporters abroad and fosters progress. Norwegian Customs will also share the letter within its International networks.

The Norwegian Customs will share this Information in International forums as well.

Extended support for Digitoll

Businesses using Digitoll can receive technical and professional support through the Norwegian Customs Contact Center.

To meet the business sector’s need for extended availability, we have established an on-call service. The phone line (22 86 03 12) is now staffed during the following hours:

  • Monday–Thursday: 3:30 PM–9:00 PM
  • Sunday: 2:00 PM–9:00 PM

Note: On Fridays after 3:30 PM and outside these hours, the Contact Center is closed.

Outside regular opening hours (8:00 AM–3:30 PM on weekdays), you will be greeted by a voicemail message. For Digitoll-related inquiries, you must select an option (12). This is not mentioned in the message to ensure that only relevant cases are addressed.
